 A survey reported in 1969 of a representative sample of agricultural economists in universities and the USDA (sample size: 590; response rate: 379 or 64%) showed that23.9% reported that they never used the Bibliography of Agriculture; 40.8% reported never using Index of Economic Journals; 41.1% reported never using Journal of Economic Abstracts; 50.0% reported never using Biological and Agricultural Index; 58.0% reported never using World Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Abstracts; 72.7% reported never using International Bibliography of Economics; 76.2% reported never using Biological Abstracts; and 79.8% reported never using PAIS Bulletin.             (Source)
