A study reported in 1978 of all articles indexed in 48 issues (1972-75) of the Tropical Diseases Bulletin (11,174 articles taken from 611 different journals) showed that:

                10 (1.6%) journal titles accounted for 2,765 (24.7%) articles;

                33 (5.1%) journal titles accounted for 5,452 (48.8%) articles;

               121 (18.9%) journal titles accounted for 8,707 (77.9%) articles;

               279 (43.5%) journal titles accounted for 10,378 (92.9%) articles.                    (Source)

                English (439 titles)                    8,963 (80.21%) articles

                French (48 titles)                          724 (6.48%) articles
